The DGS, the Art Consultant, Tamara Thomas of Fine Arts Services, Inc., and the Design/Builders have substantially completed the work on the East End Art Program.
The Capitol Area East End Complex has incorporated into the project a $2.8 million art program that emphasizes the values, heritage, direction and goals of the State of California. The Art Selection Panel, consisting of five members, selected Tamara Thomas, Fine Arts Services, of Los Angeles, as its Art Consultant.
The Art Selection Panel selected the following artists to provide works of art in the following areas of the Complex (please click on links below to view installed artwork):
Capitol Avenue Plaza - LAMdJ, LLC (Lita Albuquerque and Mitchell De Jarnett), Los Angeles
Etched elevator doors for each lobby of the five buildings:
